Director Kousuke Sakoda

Born in Kure City, Hiroshima Prefecture in 1977.

In 2004, he directed the short film "Kono Mado, Mukougawa" while attending the New Cinema Workshop.

The production that brings out the delicate sway of the heart and the unique visual sensation were highly evaluated, and he was selected for the film festivals in Japan and overseas along with the subsequent production "No, Naka" (05) and was invited to be screened.

I get depressed while preparing a feature film. After three years of medical treatment and hospitalization, he returned to the movie "Father's Mistress". Invited screenings at 12 film festivals in 3 countries, and awards at film festivals in India and the United States. Although it was a second-part movie, it was released in theaters and attracted a lot of attention.

He has lived in Kure City, Hiroshima Prefecture since 2014. This is the first feature film.
